That's Life

I have been hibernating for the past week. Tucked away in a nice, safe, comfortable place where the zest and innocence of childhood gone by still lingers. Oh yes reminiscence. But now I have been unwillingly summoned back to my abode in the western region of the island. The undeniable lure of examinations may have succeeded in sucking me back from good times but it has not lulled me into a false sense of security. No on the contrary my guard has been heightened as the inevitable looms ahead. No doubt my paltry sword and shield will prove scant cover and defence against the relentless assault of the examinations. How?

Now that my little vacation has ended, it's back again to the harsh realities of this cold, unfeeling world. My harbour is not going to be able to provide shelter from the storms and winds any longer. Argh. Gone were the days when I could just sit down and play with little toy cars and eat porridge dripping out of my mouth. Kind of disgusting but hey I would rather do that than immerse myself in the giant conspiracy the MOE terms as our 'education'. Ok fine so education has its merits but it's quite difficult to appreciate the wonders of science when time is of the essence.

I think many of us are going to have nervous breakdowns soon. Ok the 'us' probably refers to people from 07s07a. Haha I know mervin ang has been adequately prepared so he should do fairly well. It's still hard to believe that our JC life has just flown past us all too fast. And it's even sadder when you want to make amends for your stupid misdeeds over the past 2 years but it's more or less too late. Ok not really there's still a bit of time left.

I'm kind of looking foward to prom. Kind of because it's going to be the last school event ever? Nostalgic I guess. 07S07A is quite a nice class. I mean it probably takes a lot out of people to tolerate my nonsense. I wonder what we will all wear for prom. The guys will wear suits I guess? Smart casual probably means long pants/ trousers? Long-sleeved shirt? Jacket? I think all the girls will look pretty at prom. And the guys decent/ presentable at the very least.

Maybe that's all for the best that we all get to see one another looking decent since we couldn't get to really experience the splendour of one another's inner beauty.
