Reality Check
The past week hasn't been a topsy-turvy week for me because in order to be topsy-turvy, there needs to be high points and low points and so far there's been nothing around but the latter. It's been pretty screwed up in terms of everything and I can't really be bothered to elaborate. Haha dunno why but apparently it seems Mervin and Ming Sing have been having it rough too, they both felt pretty screwed up then and I believe even now, to some extent.
I've been like damn depressed last week and I'm totally proud to say that a grand total of 3 people from 07S07A, namely Longkuan, Linus and Lim Min (all starting with L, lol) asked me what was wrong. Then again, at least there were 3. Lol. Anyway, sometimes I wish there were more people like them in class, but then there would be overcrowding, so... Even though Linus tends to be sarcastic, irritating and forgetful at times, at least he doesn't flap his hands in the air and cause wind torrents while talking. Then again, as Linus said, sometimes we have to get to know people better to break down the invisible wall separating us before we can see their inner goodness but of course, I would also like to say that there are a few exceptions.
After talking to Kunda countless times, I realized that I really miss the good old days back in RI. I certainly remember how me and Kunda became friends in Sec 4. We weren't close in Sec 3 but in Sec 4, 'the alliance was forged', as he likes to say. Oh yes, I certainly remember those fantastic 157 trips back home, where we confided to each other about Feldmaus and 'Number 9', where we hatched Operation Suckertrap, where we talked crap with Miki and Deng Chao. Oh wells, speaking of, I guess I miss more 4G people than I think I do. But then again, we all have to move on, and 'not all of us move on as well as we would like to' - quoted from Kunda again.
Oh wells, I suppose it's a bitch-eat-bitch world and we just gotta depend on ourselves.

Why Swearing Is Bad
I know all of you are probably laughing your asses off out there but never mind. I'm here to do my take on why swearing is bad. Swearing harms not only you, your family but everybody around you. That's why all of you should stop swearing right now! If you need some motivation to do so, check out the following reasons:
Swearing is addictiveYes, although swearing does not involve tobacco, nicotine, tar and whatever that goes into a making a cigaratte, swearing is highly addictive. Let's start with an example. First, you say 'f*** you' when you are highly agitated and distressed by the perpetrator's actions and words. After a while, you will start saying 'f***' when swearing at nothing in particular, such as when you forget to bring something. Before you know it, you use start describing things with the word "f***ing' and this will obviously make you swear more, since we know how important descriptions are in conveying feelings and thoughts. Thus, we can see that swearing is a vicious cycle.
Swearing is uncouthSome people believe that swearing is not high-class. They believe that only gangsters and ah bengs or ah lians swear. They believe that swearing should only be restricted to coffeeships where the air is polluted by smoke. They believe that swearing is bad. Guess what? These people are right. Do you see ministers swearing? (swearing in is not counted of course) Do you see teachers swear? (you do not know who Mr Ng is)
Swearing reflects a lack of characterPeople with real character don't swear. If a person has high moral standards, he will insult you verbally without cursing you, your father, your mother and your family members. If a person has guts, he will just assault you straight away. If a person is rich, he will just sue you.
Swearing does not go down well with some peopleSome peopl are highly averse to swear words. Luckily for me, all of my friends are immune to swear words. (as all of you know, immunity is developed after strong exposure to something and is a result of the body getting used to it) However, a certain group of people (mainly girls) have developed a strong response to the usage of vulgarities in front of them. Responses involve dirty stares, shocked looks and tongue clicks. Anyway, we should be more sensitive to girls' feelings. I mean, scolding 'c*** b**' to a girl's face isn't exactly the most considerate thing to do. (Jie Liang, hear that?) I mean, how would we boys like it if the girls scold 'l** j***' at us? We must also bear in mind that we do not exactly want to burn bridges with a certain more 'conservative' brigade of girls.
I hope all of you will f***ing stop swearing now. Thank you.

FIFA World Cup Final
This is where legends are born. Ok, not here but in Berlin, Germany, where the FIFA World Cup Final is going to be held. France is up against Italy. Haha, I don't like. Why? Where is the Cote' d Ivoire? I tell you, I want an African team to be in the final. Nobody supports African teams, tmd. But never mind, I'm supposed to analyse the teams and make some predictions. Well, here goes.
France 1-1 Italy (France win 4-3 on penalties)
The End.
World Cup Final Prediction
Heard on the way to school today on FM 97.2 from DJ Marcus Chin aka 陈建彬 said that Brazil's soccer great Pele has opened his "golden" mouth and predicted that the winner of the World Cup 2006 Final would be --- Italy!
Well...But since my dad's a avid France supporter and avid-er FM 97.2 supporter... i hav been listening to the morning program ever since i was born...So somehow or other i learnt from 97.2 that Pele's predictions for the quaters were almost all wrong n semis too...So...I guess i am going with the sentimental favourites...the French. Hope Zizou can work his magic again against Italy!
So...My prediction
France 1-0 Italy
Erms...phang forgot bout 3rd/4th placing...But i am placing my bets on Germs to win it....After all it's 12 v 11 so a lil more than a ronaldo, heading for hollywood after the World Cup, is needed to beat them i guess hahas...
So...My prediction
Germs 2 - 0 Portugal
LOL 4th post of the day....
PS it's far from a dead blog ming sing
JOKES
Post CTs mood still la....
Today at civics....Ms Uma was talking bout PTM. Den she went "How many Lims are there in this class" Well....there were i think 8...so everyone went 8...
Den Jiahua went "Maam...There are 112 lims in this class."
Uma: Huh??
Jiahua: 112 limbs
.......
Whole class burst out laughing....Nice one....
Den clever me suddenly burst out "NONO...it's 111 only cos Jiahua's LAME."
Class started laughing again....LOL....What a genius....Wells after 1 1/2 hrs of tedious GP i suppose can relax a little la....Was damn tired today coz band ended ultra late ytd...So was like yawning alot during GP...N Ms Uma was kinda pissed at me...
Was kinda impressed with myself though...at the joke i cracked :D:D
N yay! another double post...
No Title
Tmd, I was hoping to play pool today after school since Lim Min like asked some people to go to the condominium opposite her house to play pool. I mean, the last time I played pool I totally got owned by Marvin 2-5 and somemore this time at clubhouse no need to pay.
Thus after school, Lim Min, Tim Wee and Xiuhuan (I think she's like his girlfriend or something and Lim Min and Constance think so too, hahaha) went off to J8 first, while I went downstairs to the canteen to find Ming Sing while waiting for Solomon, Cheryl, Constance and Daphne were playing bridge upstairs in class. Haha, just for your information, I was debating with Ming Sing about the hotness of this girl, ****** (whose identity I shall not reveal for personal security) - I was arguing for the proposition while he was foolishly defending my scathing claims. (By the way, the girl is really hot) Never mind, I'm digressing. Back to the point.
Hoho, the beef lasagna at Pastamania sucks big time. The bloody thing was like huge chunks of minced beef stashed in some flour container and it costs $9.50. What the heck, so expesnive somemore not nice. Anyway, met Toon Hwee. (for the second time I think) He's quite a nice guy, I wouldn't mind him as a classmate but definitely not as a CT rep because I totally love my post. Haha, it's like how cool. While eating, I was considering how to formulate my strategy to win a certain important battle (good luck to Kunda too) while someone was rambling on and on about how I should make my own decisions and offering no constructive advice at all.
I tell you, sometimes plans don't work. Because our plan to play pool fell apart like some cardboard box blown apart by the wind - somebody had booked the table until 6 o'clock already. Like what the heck, I was so looking foward to owning everybody but I had to settle for bridge instead where I got owned by pros like Constance and Tim Wee.
By the way, I need a haircut (Daphne, Lim Min and Constance all agree) because apparently, there's going to be attire check next week. Like this, how to get Lionel Messi's hairstyle?

Change
Well...As the saying goes....The only constant in life is change.
Lotsa things have changed since start of the year at RJ.
Changed from single-sex school to co-ed school. i.e. met girls for the 1st time in school U in 4 yrs.
Changed CCA.
Changed number of subjects taken.
Changed format of lessons.
Changed instrument i play during CCA.
Changed target of Tests and Exams from As to Es.
Changed Changed changed.....
Well...I hope i have adapted well towards these changes....Found that friends around me have changed somewhat too. Hmm...Some things that did not seem to be so important before seem to be very very important now. Many things had happened recently and hmms....phang had been quite depressed....for certain reasons i am not at the liberty to reveal....I suppose what i have to say is rather simple but i might juz sound like his grandfather or sth....To phang: U juz hav to try and adapt to the changes....things dat are happening around you and out of your control. Let it go if you need and get your priority rights.
That's all i hav to say phang...:D
Ok...i really sound like an old man haha...
N thanks phang for ramming straight into me at the canteen like some crazy bull....Well i dun take physics so dunno how to explain it....but i lost balance n just fell....WTH!! Right in front of my entire class including {fill in urself phang}....ARGH!! Nvm....super embarrassing but considering that phang is emotionally very weak/unstable after several heavy blows....OUCH...haha...i suppose i can forgive him :D
So far CTs have only gotten back Econs Case Study and YAY! got 12.5/25 haha...I PASSED!!! Well...as i have mentioned above...met my target of E. Hopefully my essay can be rather well done so that effectively (shit. affected by math lecturer) i can improve on the target...N hopefully dun get a fail grade la....
On a side note...Current math Lecturer's "alright"s and "effectively"s and "let's consider"s have been very distracting coz they chop up the sentences too many times...Anyone seconds this??

Struck By An Arrow
Lol, I think the title of this post is quite cool. People like Ming Sing and Mervin should know why, hahaha. Anyway whatever, I just feel like posting about this because I think this is quite pertinent and also because other people I know are facing this problem too, though they might hide it quite well.
Crap, the news just gets worse and worse. Lol, apparently my ally has managed to uncover information about important matters. And it appears that the situation is worsening. Crap, as my good friend Kunda would put it, I appear to be under siege from the enemy. Resources are diminishing, artillery is insufficient and the white flag is poised to be raised. Kunda, the military artisan, knows this situation far too well, for he has been here before, and thus I consulted him for advice regarding this perilous stage. Unfortunately, he too fell to the enemy and thus was unable to offer any relevant information on how to tackle the problem.
Even though I have allied with other key forces nearby, they too appear powerless to stop what is going on. The walls are crumbling, the impregnable fortress is breaking apart and my army is disintegrating. I wonder if it is time to just give up?
